My Park events 2025Myatt's Fields Park Project can't wait to welcome you to another year of wonderful events celebrating local culture, heritage, talent, entrepreneurship as well as open the discussing on mental health, land justice and climate change.
Whether you're planning your visit in advance by month or looking for something exciting at the last minute, explore these fantastic events in your local park to make sure you don't miss out! There will be live music, food, market stalls and activities to join in. We're able to bring these events thanks to the support of many donors and partners such us: Black Cultural Market, Empower from Within, Black Growth, XLP Youth Programme, Raw Material, Van Gogh House, Incredible Edible Lambeth, People's Land Policy, Lambeth Council. All events are FREE and suitable for babies to grandparents. |
Windrush CelebrationSunday 22nd June
12pm to 5pm By the bandstand The cultural event will have live Roots , Dub Revival Reggae playing in the bandstand, from Mid-day to 2pm with Merger Band, discovered by the late great Bob Dylan, in the late 70’s. A most memorable song by Merger “Prisoner of Your Love” With a special guest appearance from Kush AbaKush a predominately female band, who went viral on Tik Tok for Rock Attack a number of years ago. The event will end with 2 hours of music from Vinyl Memories, expect Studio One & and touch of sweet rare groove. Black Culture Market a regular attraction at The Department Store, on Ferndale Rd, will have several stalls, selling handmade gifts, from Arts and crafts, creams and lotions, and a number of hot food stalls to wet your appetite. |
Festival Andino (Andean Festival)Saturday 28th June
12pm to 6pm By the bandstand We are thrilled to invite you to the Fourth Edition of the Festival Andino UK – a vibrant celebration of the rich cultural heritage, music, dance, and traditions of the Andean region! Join us for a unique experience that brings the spirit of the Andes to the UK – with stunning performances, colorful folk dances, live Andean music, delicious traditional food, artisan crafts, and much more. This is more than a festival – it’s a gathering of communities, a cultural journey, and a joyful space to connect with the heart of the Andes. Everyone is welcome! Whether you're from the Andean community, a lover of world cultures, or simply curious, come and be part of this unforgettable celebration! Stay and Play (term time)Mondays and Fridays, Under 4s: 9.30-11.30am
Picnic area (in the park, opposite the Mulberry Centre). Only available during term time, the Mulberry Outdoor Preschool runs 2 FREE drop-in Stay and Play sessions a week. It provides outdoor, nature-based activities for children. Come along and meet other parents whilst your children play in the fresh air! No need to register in advance, just drop in on the day. We look forward to seeing you there. |
Playground - Water PlayThe water fountains are currently not in use but they will reopen in Spring time from the end May 2025 (Spring Bank Holiday).
Time: 10am and 6pm, (with 15 minute intervals every hour for system self cleaning) One of the most popular activities for families in the park, come along and splash about. The system is managed and maintained by Lambeth Council. |
