Welcome to Myatt's Fields Park
Myatt's Fields Park is a beautiful Victorian park in Camberwell, South London. There is a lot to see and do here for all ages from cutting-edge sports facilities to a modern kids' playground with water play.
You can even get married amid the backdrop of the park's original 19th century bandstand, roundhouse, gardens and paths. Or maybe you fancy taking in the views of one of London's most peaceful places? Well, there's always a seat at the Little Cat Café – where you can taste organic food grown by volunteers in the park's community greenhouse. |
Growing food for local peopleMyatt's Fields Park has been awarded Green Flag status for its quality green space. The park has also won awards for growing food for local people – and developing habitats for pollinators, like bees.
There are plans for more wildlife and edible plants. As well as lots of opportunities to volunteer and improve your gardening skills around the park. If gardening isn't your thing, maybe cooking is? Myatt's Fields Park offers a range of community training, including popular Food Heroes classes. Learn how to cook using food fresh from the greenhouse. |

Myatt's Fields Park Project core purpose
We’re a community-run Victorian park between Brixton and Camberwell, South London.
Our core purpose is to develop and protect Myatt's Fields Park as a haven of wellbeing for our urban neighbourhood. We want to support the needs of our diverse area by growing food, staging cultural events, providing educational opportunities and supporting families. Our 14-acre Grade 2 listed park has a wildlife garden, cafe, playground, sports facilities and spaces for hire. We're a food hub with a community greenhouse and kitchen. A Green Flag Award winner, the park won Gold in London in Bloom in 2021. Opening times are listed on the entrance gates but the park is generally open from 7.30am to 15 minutes before sunset. Look forward to seeing you in the park! |
