A much wider range of food and drinks will be on offer at Myatt’s Fields Park’s Little Cat Café from Thursday 29th June.
The menu will include samosas, cream teas, a range of sandwiches (including a children’s simple cheese sandwich at £1.50) and salad box specials, using produce from the park’s greenhouse where possible. New drinks include iced coffee, dairy milkshakes and a smoothie of the day. The menu has been designed by the park’s new food manager, Rebecca Maddox, who previously ran House café in Camberwell, and whose post is funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Local Food fund. The London Consort of Winds will be performing on the bandstand from 2pm on Sunday (3rd July).
