Get ready for carnival
We're organising a carnival parade between Max Roach and Myatt's Fields Park on 12 October with an event at the park from 2.30pm - 5.30pm. To prepare, we're inviting families with children 4 and under to help us make shakers and masks this Saturday, 10am to 12.30pm, at the Mulberry Centre. You'll get to make and share carnival food too.
Family fun day with the Tigers
Come down to the park this Sunday from noon to 7pm for a fun-packed fundraiser with Lambeth Tigers. There'll be lots of games, including a parents vs coaches match – plus a BBQ, stalls and music. The football club is raising funds to help it train up to 200 young people a week.
Smell the delights of the market
Our community-run market sells freshly-baked bread, meat, veg, fish and cheese, as well as fab pesticide-free produce grown in our very own greenhouse every Sunday 10am-3pm. Stock up on your favourite flavours and try some new ones!
New football pitch opens soon
The pitch refurbishment has been carried out as an investment in Lambeth Tigers for their great work in the community. The pitch will be free for community use, including from 3pm - 5pm on weekdays, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Community and private hires available at other times. Contact us for more information. Lambeth Tigers will celebrate the opening of the pitch today with a football tournament from 3pm - 8.30pm.
