Myatt's Fields Market and music
We welcome GW Jazz next Sunday (1-3pm) playing a fusion of contemporary jazz and world music alongside the market. And on 12 August Clause 4 will play country and Americana (1-3pm). The pilot for the market will end after 12 August and we're delighted to say that it will be back weekly from 30 September.
Get your wonky veg ready: Harvest Festival 30 Sept 10am - 4pm
Categories in our new harvest festival vegetable growing competition will include wonkiest veg, veg most like a person, most determined veg, most exotic veg, best child grower and best veg carving. So get growing! Harvest Festival will include arts, live music and lots of food!
Get fit in Myatt's
Get rid of your stress during yoga sessions in the quiet garden on Saturdays 11am - 12:30pm. And the whole family can join in with family boxercise for absolute beginners from 10am - 11am on Sundays in the picnic area (£10 for employed, £5 unemployed families - first one free)
Water play: who to contact The water play is managed by Lambeth which employs contractors Engie. MFPP and the Little Cat cafe do not have day to day information about, or control over the water play and we understand people's frustration when it's not working. Teddy Bears Picnic Picnic area 8 August 2 - 4:30
Enjoy a drumming workshop, make a waxed cloth cover for your picnic container and share free food at our teddy bears picnic. Join other families for a walk from Liz Atkinson children's centre to the park or come straight to Myatt's for 2:30pm. All families with children under four years welcome.
Wriggle and Rhyme at Minet Library 7 August 10:30 - 12:30pm
There will be free food, crafts and other activities at this special summer session of Wriggle and Rhyme at Minet library. Organised in partnership between our family engagement team and Lambeth libraries.
Grove adventure playground open Monday to Friday - 31 August 10:30am - 5.30pm Ages 6 - 14
Local volunteers, with support from Loughborough Junction Action Group, have come together to re-open the Grove Adventure playground. Activities include adventure play, games and arts, and a design and build project.
Mayor's Green Space Grants
