LAMBETH ARCHIVES OPEN DAY
“What has Local Government ever done for us?” The question will be asked at Lambeth Archives Open Day on Saturday 29th September.
There will be a full programme of talks, an exhibition, local society stands, children’s events and refreshments starting at 10.00 a.m. and running through the day at St Michael’s church, next to Longfield Hall.
Don’t miss the screening of “Films from the Archives” at 1.15: a mix of work by local film makers (including the Clapham Film Unit’s recent history of Brixton’s murals) and older footage of Lambeth from our own moving image collections.
