Our family-run community cafe is right next to the wildlife area – just follow the aroma of fresh coffee and pancakes. We serve hot and cold drinks, cakes, snacks, breakfast and lunch..

We care about good food. There are healthy options for kids and adults, and we use as much seasonal produce as we can from the park’s greenhouse.

Profits from the cafe help us look after the park. Melany runs the cafe with her son Omar and daughter Eliza. She's also a longstanding volunteer who has done so much for the park and the community over the years.

During the summer the cafe is sometimes open later for live music and special events. Keep an eye out for what's on.

Myatt’s offers an inviting space for families with kids of all ages. Our park is designed with a relaxed, clean atmosphere, featuring buggy-friendly pathways that make it easy for everyone to explore. Families can enjoy open grass areas for play, a dedicated wildlife section where kids can discover nature firsthand, and even a resident bee colony to visit. For high-energy fun, our playground has it all, from climbing frames and swings to a thrilling zip line.

For planning future visits, here is the standard schedule and information for the site:

• Standard Water Play Hours: When operational, the popular Water Play area runs daily from the May bank holiday through August, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The system runs in 15-minute sessions each hour to allow for self-cleaning, ensuring a safe environment. The system is managed by Aquaneo and supported by Lambeth Council.
• Year-Round Events: The site hosts a variety of family-friendly events throughout the year, including NaturActive, a Family-Fun Day, Cultural Events, the Harvest Festival, and Festive celebrations.
• For Little Ones: The Mulberry Outdoor Preschool offers free Stay & Play sessions for under-5s, with separate activities dedicated to under-2s. The Mulberry Centre is also available for birthday party rentals.
• School & Community Partnerships: The site proudly partners with local schools to enhance environmental education through the Natural Thinkers program, greenhouse projects, annual sport days and volunteer activities.

Enjoy the beauty of mature London Plane trees, vibrant spring bulbs, and the chance to spot our resident heron by day or bats at dusk.

Our wildlife area invites exploration with a scenic pond, fruit trees, a woodland walk, and a wildflower meadow. In summer, when the grass grows tall, you’ll find yourself immersed in a lush sea of green. This natural haven is home to frogs, foxes, butterflies, and bats, with sightings aplenty. Peek through the viewing window at the far fence to see our Bee Urban beehives, don’t miss our community greenhouse, where dedicated gardeners and volunteers grow vegetables, fruits, and plants for the park. Better yet, consider joining us as a volunteer and become part of the park’s growth yourself.

The brilliant Lambeth Tigers football team run regular training for children aged 5 and above.LTA registered tennis coach, Austin, runs coaching sessions for adults and children on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-2pm on Court 1.Contact Austin on 07931 794520 for more info.

There are toilets available in the park and located by the Park Depot next to the Cormont Road entrance.

Both toilet areas have an accessibility toilet and baby-changing can be found in the toilets by the Park Depot that look like a brown cabin (see image below). You will also find toilets in the Children's Playground area.
