Myatt's Fields Park Project is the charity dedicated to keeping this green space thriving. But our work goes far beyond mowing the grass. From supporting local families and hosting cultural festivals to driving sustainability and horticultural excellence, we are building a healthier neighbourhood for everyone.
Don’t just take our word for it—explore our Project Gallery below to see the real-world impact of our work in action.
The Myatt’s Fields Dog Show is a friendly, community led and community focused event, bringing together local dog owners and animal lovers for an afternoon of fun competitions, light-hearted prize categories, and socialising. Typically featuring categories such as best trick, waggiest tail, or best rescue, the show has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and celebrates the park’s strong community spirit while giving local pups a chance to shine.

This annual Festival transforms the Park into a hub of Latin American culture. Coinciding with the season of Inti Raymi (The Festival of the Sun), the event was a joyous celebration of the rich heritage of the Andes.
The goal is to create a space for cultural exchange and community connection, and the turnout is alaways spectacular. The Victorian Bandstand became the focal point for a series of breathtaking performances that captivates visitors of all ages.
This event highlighted the park's role as a diverse cultural venue, successfully bringing different parts of our community together to share in music, dance, and food.

Empower From Within is a platform designed to support emerging young artists in developing resilience and self-worth through creative expression, while also showcasing the diverse talent within our Caribbean community

By celebrating and showcasing local cultural life, we aimed to strengthen people’s pride in the area especially at a time when the ward name (Vassall) was replaced by the name Myatt’s Fields. People learned new skills that built their capacity to organise, deliver activities and earn money. We aimed to increase civic activity as people designed and delivered the events they want to see in the park, and to build social cohesion and trust between our communities as people enjoy time working, learning and relaxing together.

Myatt's Fields Park Project is a charity led by local people that supports the park. We have a management agreement with Lambeth Council that means from 2023 - 2030 we provide:
Lambeth remains the owner of the park and is responsible for setting and the enforcement of bye-laws.
We are working to become more financially sustainable, better meet the needs of our local communities and make our governance more effective and inclusive. Get involved or find out more: enquiries@myattsfieldspark.info
