FOOD SESSIONS AT THE PARK

FOOD HEROES

Everyone is welcome to come along and learn how to make Brazilian food at our Food Heroes programme this Saturday (12th January).

The sessions are open to everyone – come along and help cook, or just turn up and eat at noon if you want to. You don’t need to be an expert cook, we design the sessions so people can just roll up their sleeves and help with chopping, stirring and eating!

We pay food heroes £40 to teach other people about the food they know and love. No experience is needed and you will be supported by our food manager Fiorella Fronzi during the session. If you are interested in becoming a food hero please contact Fiorella Fronzi on fiorella.fronzi@myattsfieldspark.info.

FAMILY COOK AND EAT BREAKFAST CLUB

We’ll be making rhubarb muffins at the family cook and eat breakfast club this Friday (January 11th) from 9am in the Mulberry Centre.  The family cook and eat sessions allow children and adults to cook and eat together. Everyone welcome.

 RETIRED PEOPLE'S LUNCH CLUB

Retired people are welcome to come and eat lunch made with vegetables and fruit from the greenhouse at the depot from noon each Friday. These sessions are informal and friendly and everyone is welcome.

The food sessions are funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Local Food scheme.

HELP US PUT MYATT’S ON THE MAP

If you would like to put Myatt’s Fields Park on the map because it makes you feel well and keep healthy, then take photos of the park and send them in to Lambeth.

The council is putting together a health and wellbeing map of Lambeth which will show all the places, services, things and people that make Lambeth residents feel healthy and good about themselves.

To take part, take photos of the place, person or thing that makes you feel well, mark them with what they are plus their address and send them in to Lambeth.
