Tennis facilitator volunteering

Are you passionate about tennis and eager to make a difference in your community? We're thrilled to announce the exciting inauguration of the newly renovated tennis courts at Myatts Fields Park! As part of this special event, we're seeking dedicated tennis volunteers to help run engaging sessions during the festivities.

Volunteers will receive LTA training, ensuring you're well-prepared to lead dynamic tennis sessions for attendees. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase your tennis skills while helping our community members discover the joy of the sport. Email Eliza for more information.

Food growing volunteering

Our greenhouse is a nurturing space where volunteers cultivate more than just plants.

Community Meals: Our greenhouse provides fresh produce for park community meals, fostering unity and good food.

Community Support: Beyond the park, we aid local food-growing projects in estates, schools, and roadsides. Last year, we assisted 45 groups with 40,000 young plants.

We offer free baby plants to community groups plus workshops and advice for successful food growth. Groups can join our greenhouse 6 week workshops on Thursdays (9 am - 11 am or 12 pm - 2 pm). Park gardening volunteering

Embrace the beauty of nature and community as a volunteer park gardener. Your journey will be enriched with horticultural knowledge and gardening skills, adding to the park's allure.

As a token of our appreciation, enjoy a complimentary tea, coffee, or soft drink at The Little Cat Cafe, along with a 10% discount on food when you volunteer. 

Guidance and mentorship await you from our expert staff, Tony and Taye. Customize your involvement to suit your preferences, whether that's a little or a lot.

Join us on Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30 am till noon, as we tend to the park's verdant beauty.

Litter Legends Volunteering

Join us as a Litter Legend and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine beauty of our beloved park. Your contribution keeps the park clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.

Your efforts ripple positively through the community. Volunteer on your terms, at your own pace, during your preferred times.

As a token of our gratitude, receive a complimentary tea, coffee, or soft drink from The Little Cat Cafe on your volunteering day. Moreover, enjoy a generous 20% off food.

Corporate Volunteering

Forge stronger team connections amidst the serene park environment as you engage in hands-on gardening and maintenance tasks suited to each season. Leave the office routine behind, embracing pruning, planting, and painting as you contribute to the upkeep of this acclaimed Green Flag Award-winning park. Not only will your team benefit from expert guidance and protective gear, but you'll also receive photos and a post-event thank-you.
