Shamha Vibration Drumming for Community WellbeingEvery Friday (Round House)
Our free to attend drum circle, with Djina and Pete, where you can enjoy feeling the benefits of community music, which include physical exercise; increased brain activity and reduction of stress, tension and anxiety. Come along to Shamha's two-hour drumming sessions on Fridays, get together with your neighbours in our beautiful local park. Drums are provided. |
Retired People's Lunch ClubMyatt's Fields Park depot (warm space!)
Wednesdays noon to 2pm Enjoy a hot meal and a warm welcome in our beautiful park Plus activities - trips, art activities, dance - you choose! Launch lunch 15th February - Caribbean jerk chicken (veggie option included) and music with Happy Drums. To book your place email community@myattsfieldspark.info or just turn up! The lunch club is organised for people of state retirement age or over. |
Playground - water playAlways on from the end of May (spring bank holiday) to the end of September between 10am and 6pm, with 15 minute intervals every hour for system self cleaning)
A much loved and used fun water play feature, enjoyed by many. It is maintained and managed by Lambeth Council. Closed on the following dates for maintenance: 15th June, 13th July, 17th August, 14th September |
Stay and Play (term time)Mondays and Fridays, Under 4s: 9.30-11.30am
Picnic area (in the park, opposite the Mulberry Centre). During term time the Mulberry Outdoor Preschool runs two free drop-in Stay and Play sessions a week. It provides outdoor, nature-based activities for children – and lots of opportunities to meet other local people. Drop in and register on site. |
Grow food in the Greenhouse!Thursdays and Sundays: 9am to 11am and 12pm to 2pm
Learn to grow a variety of foods from around the world with our expert gardener Fabrice. Grow food for community meals and baby plants for local community projects. And if you are a local group then book in to grow the plants of your choice! Contact volunteering@myattsfieldspark.info for more info, or just turn up. |
Friday Gardening ClubWednesdays and Fridays, 9.30am-1pm
Meet at the Park Depot Develop your gardening skills during one of our relaxed sessions. You’ll be helping to grow plants for local groups and greening the park. If you're late or can't stay until 1pm, that's fine. Regular volunteers get to go on free trips to other beautiful green spaces in London. Email us for more information.
