Recalling our recent noticeboard piece on the threat to our fellow Minet Hub partner, 'Minet Library' we wrote...
"The proposal for Minet Library is frankly very disappointing. There appears to have been little or no consideration of the business plan we put forward and instead, they plan to turn the building into a gym! There will a couple of shelves of books, apparently, but no staff so we’ll lose both their wisdom and encouragement as well as the many events they organise for all age groups..."
Now a campaign group has emerged to work towards saving our Lambeth Libraries...
