CHRISTINGLE CAROL CONCERT AND CHRISTMAS MARKET
Everyone is invited to attend our annual Christmas market and Christingle carol concert on Sunday 16th December 2012.
Local craftspeople will be selling gifts and home made items from 2pm to 4pm on the bandstand, and the candle lit carol concert will start at 5pm.
Children will be given Christingles (an orange decorated with ribbon, sweets and a candle) to hold from 4.30pm onwards and mulled wine will be on sale from 4pm to 6pm.
The singing will be accompanied by Southwark Wind Orchestra and singers from St John the Divine church. We are very grateful to all musicians from the groups, which have accompanied our carols for the past two years.
The event is funded by the Minet Conservation Association and organised by Myatt’s Fields Park Project in partnership with London Borough of Lambeth.
If you would like to book a stall for the market (one table and a chair) please fill in the form attached to this email. It costs £10 for an adult or £5 for a child’s stall, and you will be provided with a table and chair. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
We would appreciate help setting up and clearing away for the event, and also stewarding during the evening. All volunteers will be given mince pies and mulled wine (or juice) in the depot between 4pm and 5pm to stop them freezing in the time between the market and the carol concert! Please contact me if you can help.
