Now Spring looks like it might be finally coming it was a lovely week end in the park and lots of amazing cakes in the cafe. Delicious vegetable soup from Madeline on Saturday, and you can get a special combo of soup and cheese roll for the bargain price of £2.50. Great homemade cakes from local bakers - with special stars this week end for the Maple Syrup cake and the fig and chocolate muffins. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped in the cafe and to Saxa for keeping them all under control in the nicest possible way! The cafe is opening Friday to Sunday between 1.00 and 4.00 but new opening times to be announced soon. If anyone is interested in baking or volunteering to work in the cafe please get in touch.
