The take away menu for this week will be panang chicken and stir fried vegetables with basil. To order ahead please text Monique on (number no longer available). Portions each serve two people and cost £5 for meat curries and £3.50 for vegetable curries.
SUNDAY GREENHOUSE OPEN DAY SUNDAY 7TH APRIL
Everyone welcome to come along and help us plant vegetables on Sunday from 11am to 2pm. This is a great way of finding out what we do in the greenhouse project (growing food and vegetables for community use) in a relaxed environment.
There will be a hot Indian meal for everyone who takes part from 1pm.
FOOD SESSIONS AT THE PARK
FOOD HEROES
Everyone is welcome to come along on Saturday (6th April) and learn how to make a fusion of Caribbean, Chinese and Thai food which will include chicken and vegetable stir fry followed by apple tarte tatin.
The sessions are open to everyone – come along and help cook, or just turn up and eat at noon if you want to. You don’t need to be an expert cook, we design the sessions so people can just roll up their sleeves and help with chopping, stirring and eating!
We pay food heroes £40 to teach other people about the food they know and love. No experience is needed and you will be supported by our food manager Fiorella Fronzi during the session. If you are interested in becoming a food hero please contact Fiorella Fronzi on [email protected].
FAMILY COOK AND EAT BREAKFAST CLUB
We’ll be meeting up to make spinach and feta muffins at the family cook and eat breakfast club this Friday (April 5th) from 9am in the Mulberry Centre. The family cook and eat sessions allow children and adults to cook and eat together. Everyone welcome.
RETIRED PEOPLE'S LUNCH CLUB
