Here at Myatt's Fields Park we're busy setting up our Natural Thinkers activity sites working with Lambeth Council and local primary schools. This will provide teachers with access to field work and outdoors equipment along with a wonderful new 'mud kitchen' so their classes can get closer to nature and be inspired by the creepy crawlies, buzzing bees and marvellous meadows in the heart of the Park.
However, we need your help to finish it off! For the mud kitchen (the name pretty much sums it up!) we need old pots, pans, cake tins, baking trays, wooden spoons and kitchen utensils for the children to make a good old mess with.
If you have anything you can spare, or fancy a clear out, please drop them off with Sara, the new Park Manager, at the Park Depot on Cormont Road. She'll be there Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
Thank you in advance - we're sure the kids will make some tasty treats!
