MYATT’S FIELDS PARK PROJECT IS RECRUITING!
MARKETING MANAGER
(7 hours per week, £6000 per annum)
We have been awarded funding by the Big Lottery Fund’s Local Food scheme to employ a Marketing Manager for our food projects.
We run four food projects: Food Heroes, Young Food Heroes, a Retired People’s Lunch Club and a family breakfast club. We also run the Little Cat Cafe as a social enterprise. Our aim in running these is to bring local people together to enjoy good food and to learn from each other. We want to celebrate the food cultures of people living around the park.
Our food programmes have run over the past year and are popular but we now want to employ someone who can help to reach people living around the park who do not know about the food project, particularly people who can most benefit from it. We also want to ensure the project is promoted more widely to food lovers, decision makers and funders. We want to increase the number of people who use the café and food workshops, and to make sure that all local people benefit from the project.
