We were delighted that the Duchess of Cornwall included Myatt's Fields
Park in her Urban Gardens Tour on 6th September. After visiting
gardens planted by Richard Reynolds during guerilla gardening
sessions, and Walworth Garden Farm, she made her way to Stannard Hall
and Myatt's. She was shown around the beautiful food garden planted by
Alan Watson at Stannard Hall, and then made her way round our
greenhouse, before enjoying tea and cake in the depot meeting room.
She was accompanied by Rosie Boycott, who leads from the Mayor's
office on promoting food growing in London, and journalists, all of
whom travelled around on a red London bus.
